ICA , SUNDERLAND on her 5th anniversary , celebrated the gathering of Children’s and food competition on 14th Nov. 2009 at Deptford & Millfield Community Centre, Sunderland. The various dishes prepared by the members were superb and had nostalgic memories of their homes. Mr. Jinu varghese, President welcomed the members and stressed the importance of Children’s day and the Chacha Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India and favourite of the children. The secretary Mr. Cijo george presented the report and had discussed the various ongoing issues of the Association. The members had given valuable suggestions and vowed to abide the discipline . Mr. Robin Paulose was elected as the new President for the year 2010 and he nominated his office bearers to lead the association for next year.
The children were all given the birthday presents to honour the occasion. Special congratulations had been given to all winners of the Food Competitions and honoured with cash prize and certificate.
