SUNDERLAND:SKCA celebrated its Xmas celebration for the year 2009 on 27/12/2009 at Steels Club , Millfield. The program started at 6.30pm and winded up at 10.30pm.

The celebration commenced with a tabloid of Xmas message followed by Santa’s visit and he delivered a message to all children. Entertainment programs were played by the members and their children. SKCA members can proudly boast, this programme was a unique one and was successful in entertaining as well as engaging.

One of the traditional dances of Kerala is classical dance, which was performed by our girls along with their teacher which was appreciated wholeheartedly. The participants enthralled the audience with their various talents and left a vision that they have more potential which needs to nurtured and encouraged.

As usual in our tradition a three course ‘nadan sadya’ was served at the end of the program which reminded many people of their homes. Program ended up by delivering Xmas present to all children.
