SUNDERLAND:Indian Welfare Association in Sunderland has celebrated their Christmas and New Year Programme on 09-01-2010 at Deptford and Millfield Community centre. Programme commenced at 6pm till late night.President Mr.Manojkumar welcomed the members,families and invited guests for the programme. Programme was anchored by Dr.Gopal munisami and Dr.Celicia jose. A variety of dance programmes,Carol songs,Nativity play,comody skit etc were enjoyed by all the viewers.Cultural Programme was arranged by Mrs.Jaya Otto with the help of Mrs.Honey Reji, Mrs.Sheena Biji, Master. Akhil Manoj and Miss.Arunya Mathew. Everybody has enjoyed the dinner prepared by the members under the supervision of Mr.Reji Philip and Mr.Thomas Kutty.

During the programme they have selected Executive Members for 2010-11. Mr.Jose mathew as President,Mr.Joseph Finney as Secretary,Mr.Manuel Joseph as Treasurer, Mr.Biji Varughese as Sports co-ordinator, Mr.Reji Philip as Food Co-ordinator, Mrs.Jaya Otto and Mrs.Hema Manoj as Cultural co-ordinators. Prizes were given for the children who have participated for the Christmas Carol.Vote of Thanks was given by Acting Secretary Mrs.Saramma Sabu.TheProgramme ended by singing our National Song
